TWO MEISSEN MODELS OF SPITZERS
Circa 1745, each with Pressnummer 50, modelled by J.J. Kändler
Both naturalistically modelled to the right and seated on their haunches, their coats with fine black markings, their heads with black and brown markings, each with a collar around their neck tied with a ribbon at the back, one collar with a red band between yellow lines, the other with a puce band between yellow lines, on beige rectangular bases, one with bouquets of black flowers, the other with a black line border with black flower-sprays at each corner
