with bisque headed black man with moulded curly hair, fixed dark glass eyes, open/closed mouth with row of teeth, moulded smile lines to cheeks and simple wood body with carved lower arms and legs wearing original felt and cotton costume --8¼in. (21cm.) high, impressed 14, the rickshaw painted orange with upholstered seat, hinged canopy, spoked wheels with rubber tyres and electically operated lanterns, probably French --15½in. (39.5cm.) high, circa 1910 (one tyre perished) (2)
