Details
Taylor--Vintage 1994
Not in original wooden case
Tasting note: First noted as cask samples in June and July 1996. A heck of a bite, bitter (tannic) finish, and hard, spirity, full of fruit and great length. In other words a classic immature Taylor. With Fonesca, the Wine Spectators joint No. 1 100-point wine and certainly demonstrating its qualities. Still opaque and intense; nose more sublimated than Fonesca, but crips, lovely fruit; sweeter thought with all the component parts for a splendid future.
