of various materials and subject matters, including: two portrait shell cameos by Giovanni Dies (1796-1839); a pink shell of a bearded gentleman in period costume; a coral medusa head; carved ivory plaques and composition examples; and several mother-of-pearl cameo or engraved panels; plus a modern cameo; all in a mother-of-pearl and abalone shell inlaid box containing three lift-out shelves.
