Hand-colored engraved title-page and 59 plates on 58 sheets, one double-page, after Bridgens (few small marginal adhesions on title, few short marginal tears, not affecting images, some occasional pale fingersoiling, otherwise fine, with colors fresh.) Modern quarter calf.
FIRST EDITION, later issue on Whatman paper dated 1845. Bridgens' is a very finely illustrated early-Victorian work of furniture and decoration designs in the Grecian, Elizabethan and Gothic styles.
