Geneva, circa 1800, with prestige marks
Octagonal oblong flattened box, the lid centred by a rectangular panel depicting a lunette painted with a young lady in classical dress reclining in a landscape and holding a bunch of grapes, against a translucent blue enamel ground over concentric reeding framed by gold paillons, both ends of the lid and the entire base enamelled in opaque sky blue with latticework against a polished gold ground, the sides similarly enamelled with chevrons, all panels framed by opaque white bands
