Oblong, the engine-turned body with foliate scroll borders and thumbpiece, the cover with a vacant rectangular cartouche, the plain dot-pierced grille enhanced with an engraved laurel wreath and an engine-turned waved border, marked inside cover and base with town and carat marks, leopard's head and lion passant, and on underside of grille with lion passant and carat mark
