Lot 472 slightly damp-affected label. Level into neck. Lots 473, 474 and 475 slightly damp-affected labels, Lot 475 with signs of seepage. Lot 473 to 475 levels base of neck. Lot 476 slightly faded label. Level base of neck. Lot 477 damp-affected and damaged label. Level top-shoulder. Lot 478 one capsule broken, slightly raised cork. One label damp-affected and one damp-stained. One with U.S. slip label. Levels: one into neck and one base of neck. Lot 479 all excellent appearance, levels base of neck or better

Tasting note: superlative vintage and Comte Alexandre de Lur Saluces' favourite: it was his first vintage after all. I am ashamed to admit how many times I have tasted (and drunk) this lovely wine. Golden coloured; fragrant, lime blossom bouquet; sweet of course but beautifully balanced. Perfect now. M.B.
