Tasting note: For me unquestionably the finest of all the '45s. The first post-war vintage was, happily a great success though the production was small and, due to post-war restrictionswith the UK, had to be bottled in Oporto. Many notes, alone and at horizontal tastings and always the most lovely, still sweet smelling, fragrant, still tannic. Profound. A great classic. M.B.
