Classical Period, Circa 5th Century B.C.
The draped figure reclining on a kline, with the left arm resting on a pillow, the right on the raised right knee, the long hair in plaits depicted with red pigment, preserving traces of red pigment over white slip throughout; together with a Greek terracotta seated draped woman (not illustrated) with her mantle pulled up over the back of her head as a veil, holding a small child in her left arm, her right arm resting on her lap
