TWO GREEK TERRACOTTA OBJECTS
Hellenistic Period, Circa 3rd Century B.C.
Including a figure of an old woman, standing with her weight on her right hip, depicted nude with sagging breasts, a large protruding stomach and a detailed pubic triangle, carrying a basket in her lowered left hand and an implement in her raised right hand, wearing arm bands and an elaborate coiffure; and a red-slip vessel in the form of a seated old woman wearing a long chiton, both arms gripping a lagynos between her legs, her oval head inclined, her hair bound in a sakkos, the vessel spout to the right and the mouth with two perforations behind her neck
