FIVE GREEK SILVER VESSELS
Northern Greek or Thracian, Hellenistic Period, Circa Late 4th Century B.C.
Including a pair of jugs, each with a gilt band of tongues on the shoulders, oriented to the left on one, to the right on the other, framed above and below by thin bands of beading, and additionally above by a band of triangles topped with disks, each with a gilt ribbed fillet on the neck, the overhanging rim and the handle both separately-made, the handles terminating below in a palmette, the handle of one slightly wider, with some gilding on the palmette; together with a smaller jug, its wide handle terminating below in an ivy leaf; and two small phialai mesomphalos
