Depicting Dionysus and a maenad, the maenad wearing a chiton with a long overfold, her bent right arm held out to the side, her hair pulled back into a chignon, a wreath of leaves framing her face, the god with his right arm draped over her shoulders, wearing an animal skin draped diagonally over his right shoulder and a mantle which he holds in his left hand, his left shoulder exposed, his long hair bound in a fillet, preserving traces of original pigment throughout
