Perhaps an emperor, depicted bearded, the structure of his aging face naturalistically detailed with furrows in the forehead, high cheek bones and deep naso-labial folds, the deep-set lidded eyes with the inner canthi drilled, a laurel crown in his curly locks, centered by a medallion
