AN EGYPTIAN FAIENCE FIGURE OF APHRODITE ANADYOMENE
Roman Imperial Period, Circa 1st-2nd Century A.D.
Pale green in color with purple highlights, standing on an integral base, the drapery covering only her lower abdomen and legs, her head turned to the right, wearing a necklace, arranging her long tresses with her hands; together with a Roman faience theater mask pendant, with perforated megaphone-like mouth, a suspension loop above; and an Egyptian faience figure of squatting Harpokrates, blue in color, with details in black glaze, the side lock of youth visible over his right shoulder
