The Ancient and Present State of Gloucestershire, London: T. Spilsbury, 1768. 2° (423 x 272mm.). 8 engraved plates of coats-of-arms, folding engraved map and 64 double-page plates by Kip. (Lacks portrait, the majority of the plates torn or split at folds, some torn or with other defects, first few leaves of text frayed at the margins). Contemporary calf (worn and broken, remains of old adhesive tape). Provenance: James Coxwell (18th-century bookplate).
