Oxfordshire described with ye Citie and the Armes of the Colledges of ye famous University, London: C. Dicey & Co., [c.1770]. Hand-coloured engraved map, fully-coloured College coats-of-arms in side borders, inset bird's-eye-view of Oxford, scale bar, (Trimmed to engraved frame and laid down on paper, lightly browned). 382 x 520mm.
The late editions of Speed's atlas by Dicey are very rare. Only a few copies of the atlas were issued, and the loose sheets were sold separately survive in a small number. The Henry Overton plates were acquired by W. and C. Dicey in 1754.
