(Lacks half-title and possibly 2 leaves immediately before the plates, a few plates lightly spotted). Contemporary russia (rebacked with original spine laid down, head and foot of spine and corners worn and 3 corners repaired).
FIRST EDITION, issue with the plates coloured and costing nine pounds. Uncoloured copies cost three pounds, thirteen shillings and sixpence. cf. Brunet V, 1448: "Ouvrage bien executé"; Freeman 3998; Nissen ZBI 4410a; Lisney 185-87.
