Theatrum Botanicum, das ist vollkommenes Kräuter-Buch, Basel: Hans Bischoff, 1744. 2° (358 x 215mm). Half title and engraved additional half title, engraved portrait frontispiece, title printed in red and black, numerous woodcut illustrations. (Portrait repaired, some mainly marginal wormtracks, 5N1-4 & 5Q4 with closed tears, last few index leaves repaired with frayed foredges, occasional light spotting and dampstaining). Earlier blind-stamped pigskin over boards, dated 1654 (rubbed and discoloured, bumped). Provenance: early annotation on endpapers.
