A European bronze desk set modelled with elephants, second quarter 20th century
The elephants modelled with ivory tusks, comprising; a table lamp base modelled with a trumpetting elephant, standing on naturalistic base, the tree trunk support rising upwards to form a circlet with electrical fitment, inscribed K.CSADEK -- 18¼in. (46.5cm.) high; the rectangular inkwell composed with two playful elephants, above the naturalistically cast recess and adjacent to the well, with hinged cover and blue glass liner, inscribed to the side Gadek, and indistinctly marked above -- 17½in. (44.5cm.) wide; and a letter holder modelled with a trumpetting elephant, standing on naturalistic oval base -- 7¼in. (18.5cm.) wide (3)
