Lot Essay

Condition: 4B(ii)
Cosmetic: Normal use and wear.
Mechanical: Apparently working.
Lenses: Clean and clear, minor handling marks.
This camera would appear to have been made in 1946 by the Leitz factory and would have made use of existing parts before formal, organised production was able to resume after the upheaval of the Second World War. The DANA engraving refers to the Deutsches Americanische Nachrichten Agentur [German American News Agency].
