Mark rectangular box of Jacobus Schalkwijk, Rotterdam, 1844, circular box of Diederik Lodewijk Bennewitz & Zonen, Amsterdam, 1836, also struck with retailer's mark of Bennewitz
Of circular and rectangular form, the sides embossed with flowers and cartouches, hinged slightly domed cover with rope rim, marked on base, sides and inside cover
