A RARE PAIR OF OTTOMAN SILVER RIMMONIM
Marked with the Imperial Tugra of Abdülmecid (1839-1861), also struck with the Ottoman Sah mark used from 1839 till 1909, circa 1850
Each set on ribbed footrim, the plain tapering stem inscribed in Hebrew with owners name: Chayyim Abulafia, the cone shaped body with floral and scroll fluted panels, applied acanthus leaves band below, cast foliate and bud finial, each clearly marked on lower part of stem, lower part of upper body and on the detachable cone shape, slightly above mid section
