ENGLISH, EARLY NINETEENTH CENTURY
the half-loop handle with animal mask terminals, the domed oval base with rising stiff foliage, the hardstone matrix with carved female bust and a lyre

and a further gold-mounted agate fob-seal, the matrix with carved initials W.D. within motto and with dragon within flames, crest above, English, early nineteenth century -- 2.7cms.
The crest and motto are those of Douglas.
