Early 19th Century
the young boy seated on the recumbent buffalo holding on to rope attached to the head, incised signature to base -- 1 7/8in. (4.7cm.) long; and another wood netsuke of an old man seated resting his head on one raised knee -- 1¾in. (4.5cm.) high, (rubbing).
