An Imperial Satsuma globular lobed teapot and cover
Meiji Period
with flowerhead finial and upright handle, with birds head spout and mythical beast head terminal, painted and gilt with flowering branches below a band of entwined flowers and leaves to the shoulder, the cover with a similar band below falling blossom -- 6½in. (16.5cm.) high.
