A pair of Kakiemon style dishes
Edo Period (18th Century)
decorated in iron-red, aubergine, green, blue, yellow and black enamels with prunus issuing from a tripod vase on a low table, within a band of shaped panels reserved with peonies alternating with panels of diaper patterns -- 8½in. (21.5cm.) diam. (hairline crack to one rim).
