A Kutani reticulated tazza
Meiji Period
the widely flaring basket issuing from a pedastal base, painted and gilt around the base with birds amongst lotus flowers and grasses on the banks of a river, below a band of interlacing butterflies and foliate motifs, the interior of the basket with a procession of foxes amongst flowers and grasses -- 9in. (23cm.) high, (damaged).
