A Seto Chaire and Another
Edo Period (17th Century)
The Seto chaire with narrowing sides, a crisply modelled shoulder and a short neck with a slightly everted lip, the brown glaze stopping at a line some way above the base, with splashes of lighter glaze that descend below the line; the other chaire barrel-shaped, the olive-green glaze stopping at a line some way above the base and with a further layer of darker glaze
