Circa 1790, blue script marks and painter's mark of three dots for Jean-Baptiste Tandart (active 1754-1800)
With gilt angular stud handles, painted with luxuriant garlands of garden flowers between bleu celeste borders with gilt dot ornament edged with gilt lines (2)

Almost certainly John Alexander, 4th Marquess of Bath (1831-1896), Longleat, Wiltshire and by descent at Longleat.
