A George III silver egg-boiler, stand and lamp

Oval, with gadrooned borders, with two reeded handles with turned ivory centres and foliate terminals, the partly-fluted double-sided cover hinged to each side, with scroll thumbpieces, the separate six-section egg-holder with reeded rings, handle and frame, on a wirework lattice base, the separate stand oval with reeded borders, on four fluted paw feet, with central oval bracket, and detachable oval two-light lamp and cover, the body, stand, and lamp cover each engraved with a crest with viscount's coronet above, marked on body, base of egg-frame, reverse of stand, inside each side of cover, on base of lamp, and on lamp cover bezel

The crest is for Thomas, Visount Weymouth (1796-1837), eldest son of Thomas, 2nd Marquess of Bath (1765-1837) and eldest brother of Henry, 3rd Marquess of Bath (1797-1837).
