Rectangular honey-coloured brown agate box, the cover panel carved with a pair of parakeets perched on branches tied with a ribbon, the four side panels similarly carved with leafy and floral branches tied with bows, the gold cagework chased with reeded and fluted scrolls, the foliate silver thumbpiece set with old-cut diamonds, with wavy flange
