with flared eyecup, tapering main tube and objective lens with dust slide -- 22in. (56cm.) extended; together with a red morocco wallet embossed in gold SIMON ANTRAM , 1777, with marbled paper-lined covers, stitched skin compartments, inked inside fastening strap 1824/1777 -- 47 Years, and containing later letters and cuttings about the Antrams; together with S.E. Antram's Rememberance Card and a note dated 1952 alleging a Nelson provenance to the telescope
