AN EARLY 20TH CENTURY 6½IN. RADIUS VERNIER SEXTANT BY LEE & SON
the three-circle oxidsed brass frame with polished brass arc signed and numbered G. Lee & Son. The Hard. Portsmouth M290 with inset silvered scale divided 5°- 0°- 155°, the vernier engraved with name J.F. BRADBURNE. R.N, clamp, fine screw adjustment, swivel magnifier, light diffuser, two mirrors, seven shades, sighting tubes and mahogany handle with inset ivory plaque, contained withni fitted box with accessories and test certificate dated 1915, securing hooks, inset drop handles and engraved name plaque to top -- 10½ x 9½in. (27 x 2cm.)
