A 1:48 SCALE STATIC DISPLAY MODEL OF THE ROYAL NAVY ARMED CUTTER RESOLUTION (1740)
modelled by A. Brandenburg with mast, rigging, set stitched linen sails, figurehead, anchors, catheads, belfry with brass bell, winch, gratings, belaying rail and pins, bilge pumps, water barrel, companionways, tiller, twelve guns in stepped wooden carriages and other details. The hull with chainplates and deadeyes, carved stern decoration and rudder, is finished in white, yellow, black and red painted bulwarks, is mounted on a stand with legend and loosely contained within wood bound glazed case. Overall measurements -- 27½ x 33½in. (70 x 85cm.)
