with five pin-jointed bears, one black, two white and two brown, plastic eyes, original ribbons and one with made in Germany sticker, in original plain card box bears height --5in. (12.5cm.) high, late 1950s/early 1960s

Lot Essay

These bears were found in a warehouse belonging to the company Anna Englebrecht in Germany. The company was set up in 1903 and ceased trading in the early 1960s. The warehouse had been closed until it was rediscovered in the 1990s.
