with black and white mohair, orange, black and white eyes, black stitched nose and mouth, swivel head, jointed limbs with black felt pads, Chad Valley label on one foot and Kendal, Milne & Co. Manchester shop label on other --11in. (28cm.) high, 1930s (thinning to back of head, missing one eye and slight general wear); and a British teddy bear with blonde mohair, orange and black glass eyes, pronounced clipped muzzle, black stitched nose, mouth and claws, swivel head, jointed limbs and wearing felt waistcoat --14¼in. (36cm.) high, 1930s (thinning to forehead and tops of limbs, general overall wear and pads recovered)
