A rare Steiff 'Leuin' German soldier
with pink felt head, boot button eyes, painted details, tall thin body with long arms and legs, integral blue felt long coat, red collar and trim, brass buttons, white felt gloves, leather boots with felt soles, blue felt peaked cap with red felt band, metal sword and button in ear with complete white tag --17in. (43cm.) high, circa 1910 (slightly faded and a few minor moth holes)
