Mark of George Andreas Sedelmayr, Augsburg, 1708-1710
Plain cylindrical on domed foot, with reeded borders, the foot and domed hinged cover repoussé and chased with a band of foliage, shells and scrolls on a textured ground, with foliage-capped scroll handle and bifurcated scroll thumbpiece, the cover with ball finial, the body engraved with a coat-of-arms, marked on footrim and cover rim
