Circa 1860, indistinct impressed mark, painted number 5056
Painted with a peasant woman, standing facing left, carrying a child on her back and holding a stick in her right hand, preparing to cross a stream in a moorland landscape, signed to the bottom right corner WSL, within gilt line rim (small chip to corner, glaze crazing allover), gilt wood frame
