A pair of Coalport dark-blue-ground two-handled urn-shaped vases and covers
Circa 1920, printed green marks, gilt numerals
Each painted by Frederick H. Chivers with fruit on a bed of earth within a roundel edged in raised gilt with a trophy, flowers and foliage, signed, the reverse gilt with C-scrolls and leafy branches, beneath a pale-yellow border gilt with trailing foliage, the slightly domed covers with richly gilt pine cone finials, on circular foot above square base with canted corners (some restoration and repair)
