Underglaze-blue Wanli six-character mark within a double circle and of the period (1573-1619)
Moulded as a lotus flower, the interior painted with a central lanca character surrounded by radiating ruyi panels and deeply moulded lotus petals, the exterior with lanca characters alternating with flower-sprays, underside petal tip glaze flake, hairline crack
7½ in. (19 cm.) diam.
