A FINELY-CARVED CLAIR-DE-LUNE-GLAZED SAUCER-DISH
Underglaze-blue Yongzheng six-character mark within a double circle and of the period (1723-35)
With rounded sides rising from a tapering foot, the interior finely carved in shallow relief and incised with a shou character surrounded by breaking waves and cloud-scrolls within a band of waves, the exterior carved with breaking waves around the base, all under a thin translucent pale turquoise glaze stopping neatly around the foot
