A GILT-SPLASHED AND INLAID BRONZE TRIPOD CENSER, DING
18th Century
The rounded sides inlaid in silver to depict stylised taotie masks, the above band with further smaller masks and archaic birds, the globular body supported on three tall cylindrical legs, the everted rim surmounted by two upright and slightly inwards bent loop handles, all under irregular gold splashes
