Each carved in medium relief and pierced, one with Shoulao riding a deer led by a young attendant through a rocky landscape below pine towards a pavilion at the peak, and additional figures bearing double gourds, the other with an Immortal and a crane walking with companions up a steep path to a similar pavilion, the pale greenish-grey jade with well employed russet inclusions and striations, each end with spinach jade two-piece screw-fit stopper incised with yinyang motifs, one with internal metal reinforcing sleeve
