Underglaze-blue Qianlong seal mark and possibly of the period (1736-95)
Painted in the Ming style on either side with a shaped panel enclosing peaches and a fruiting pomegranate branch, each flanked by flowering lotus sprays, all above stylised lotus leaves and a 'classic scroll' band at the foot, the shoulder with a lotus scroll below a band of palmette leaves at the flaring neck, the arched handle with lingzhi sprays, the gently curving spout covered with dense leafy scrolls, rim chips restored, the spout restuck
