AN INCISED AUBERGINE AND GREEN 'DRAGON' BOWL
Blue-black Daoguang seal mark and of the period (1821-50)
With steep rounded sides rising from a slightly tapering foot to a slightly flaring rim, the exterior incised and enamelled in aubergine with two striding five-clawed dragons chasing flaming pearls amidst cloud and flame-scrolls reserved on a bright emerald green ground
