A FAMILLE ROSE 'DOUBLE PEACOCK' PART SERVICE
Qianlong (1736-95)
Each piece enamelled with a peacock and a peahen perched on rockwork beside large flowering tree peony growing behind further rockwork, within a band of gilt and iron-red spearheads in the well and four floral sprays at the border below gilt and iron-red cash-pattern at the rim, comprising:
A circular large dish, 13¾ in. (34.9 cm.) diam.
A shaped oval dish, 13¾ in. (35 cm.) wide
An oblong octagonal dish, 13 1/8 in. (33.3 cm.) wide
A pair of oblong octagonal dishes, 10 3/8 in. (26.4 cm.) wide
A pair of hot-water plates, 10½ in. (26.6 cm.) wide
