A PAIR OF RECTANGULAR ENAMEL PLAQUES REPRESENTING AIR AND WATER

Painted in grisaille with gold highlights; each with a reserve across the bottom, one inscribed '.AER.' and signed with initials '.I.L.', the other inscribed '.AQVA.'; the reverse of each inscribed '.Laudin.Emaillieur./.a.Limoges./.I.L.'; each in later parcel-gilt and ebonised wooden frames inscribed '371' and '370'.
Minor losses to the edge of the enamels; minor damages to frames.
