In the Louis XV style, of kidney shape outline, the superstructure with enamel dial clock surmounted by putti on a lion pelt cushion holding a sword, and fitted with a central recessed open compartment, with five drawers about and flanked by putti with twin foliate branches (fitted for electricity), the top of the arc-en-arbalette outline fitted with a sliding spring loaded tooled leather lined slide and containing three drawers in the arched apron with parquetry sides and back applied with foliate ormolu sprays, on cabriole legs with female masks terminating in scroll sabots
